The four terrier mix dogs attacked Perez about six streets away from her home in the Biscayne Gardens area. The neighbors who heard Perez’s cries for help intervened and called 911.
“One dog latched onto each one of my limbs,” Perez said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies, and Miami-Dade Animal Services personnel responded to Northwest 11th Court and 145 Street.
Fire rescue personnel reported taking Perez to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where she underwent emergency surgery.

Animal Services personnel reported capturing one dog on Thursday and the three others on Friday.
