Teenage girl vanished 3 days ago in Tamarac, deputies say

TAMARAC, Fla. — Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies asked the public for help with finding a 14-year-old who vanished early Monday morning in Tamarac.

Malaysia Edwards was last seen shortly after 1:15 a.m., near the 5800 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue, according to Claudinne Caro, a BSO spokeswoman.

Malaysia, who is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a hoodie and shorts, according to Caro.

Deputies asked anyone with information about Malaysia’s whereabouts to call Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or at 954-764-4357.
