BSO: Suspect detained following fatal stabbing in Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Authorities in Broward County are investigating a fatal stabbing.

It happened shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday along the 2500 block of East Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene and found a man who had been stabbed.

Rescue crews rushed the man to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators said a suspect was detained, but did not provide any additional information.
