FIFA World Cup 2026: Spain advances to final

MIAMI — Spain advanced to the FIFA World Cup’s final after winning 2-0 against France on Tuesday in Dallas.

While La Roja’s defense neutralized Les Bleus’ Kylian Mbappé, Mikel Oyarzabal scored the opening goal in the 22nd minute, and Pedro Porro followed in the 58th.

In true Miami Beach style, fans from both European teams met to watch the match at the city’s Bandshell, at 7275 Collins Ave., in the North Beach neighborhood.

Fans will be there again at 3 p.m. Thursday to watch Argentina and England play. La Albiceleste will dominate since the Bandshell is in the “Little Buenos Aires” area.

France and the losing team of the England vs. Argentina match are set to compete for third place at 5 p.m. on July 18 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Spain and the winner will compete in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final at 3 p.m. on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Sunrise: The Amerant Bank Arena has free parking for FIFA World Cup ticket holders who ride Broward County’s free Express bus transportation to the Miami Stadium, also known as Hard Rock, in Miami Gardens.

FINAL

Miami Beach watch party: Doors open at 1 p.m. on July 19 at The Sandbowl, behind The Bandshell, at 7275 Collins Ave., for the 3 p.m. final.

Sunrise watch party: The indoor Amerant Bank Arena is hosting a free watch party for ticket holders for the final on July 19. Parking is free.
