DORAL, Fla. — A vehicle slammed into a Miami-Dade County business over the weekend, causing extensive damage.

It happened early Sunday morning at Leslie Pet Grooming located near Northwest 52nd Street and 79th Avenue in Doral.
The front side of the business was left with a gaping hole in the front of the building once the car was towed away.

Local 10 News spoke to the owner, who said he woke up to a call from police around 6 a.m. saying someone had crashed into his business.
He said police officers told him the driver was backing into a parking space when they mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, sending the car crashing into the building.

The owner said the crash caused between $15,000 and $20,000 worth of damage.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
Police did not say whether the driver would be facing any charges.
